I love to try to pet her stomach. Somedays she'll let me get away with it for a few seconds before she gently attacks my hands (with claws and then teeth if necessary) to remind me tummy-petting is off limits. But she is so soft, so I continue to try every chance I get.

Truth be known this darned old Cozy Girl can be downright vicious. You maybe should stay away from the belly rubbing and buy her a muzzle. Dammed old hiss-pot.

You do know that she is not being mean..... when cats have kittens (and we have had about 70) as the fed when they are a little older, the mum cat will grab them with her paws/claws and sorta fight and bite them, it is to teach them how to kill mice and things when they are grown :) - so when she does that she is teaching you how to kill mice and rats LOL.... I hear they make a great stew.....

Oh yes, I know that Cozy loves me and is not being mean. She's usually very gentle in her "correction" of me. She's not too keen on my friends and family petting her, but she's taken to me as part of her Cat Family...me, her and Maggie. Beyond that, she's not really into anyone else. Though she did seem to like my dad when he visited. But all animals like hime.
